On Date 03.07.2000 it was burn in a small room with only 50 books. After that we wrote Publishers, Writers and Wellwishers through postcard. Our members also collected books and magazines from nearer villages. Presently it is running in a building at near Mangala Temple in the name of PRACHI PATHAGARA, which is Providing a valuable service to the local people ,especially the youth and the children. At present the Prachi Pathagar has more than 6,900 volumes and 300 types of journals in various languages which caters to the need of more than 50,000 local people .The library also doubles up as an information centre to disseminate various information on employment, new schemes and programmes launched by he government from time to time Seminars and workshops are organised from time to time by the library to encourage the people to raise their voice.This year we got 714 books under Gandhi Pathagar Scheme from Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundaiton for the year 2007 which values near about Rs.45,000/- (Rupees fourty five thousand only)
